Hi, I'm Teresa. I help purpose-driven entrepreneurs create the space, clarity and confidence they need to grow their businesses.
Behind the brand
Elm Tree Creative Co. is inspired by the 60-year-old backyard elm tree I used to climb as a kid, where I’d sit for hours, daydreaming, writing and sketching in my Lisa Frank notebooks.
Several decades later, my creativity is ignited by other things — vibrant colors, fun patterns, my collection of houseplants, anything vintage, and exploring new places. But I still get that same feeling as I did when I was a kid when I’m creating something meaningful.
I live in a small community in the foothills outside of Denver with my fisherman husband, our three wild boys and Penny, our German Shepherd/Whippet mix.
When I’m not designing something, you can find me having a dance party in my kitchen, chopping up my farm veggies or dreaming up my next big adventure (usually involving a beach!).

Curiosity
Cultivating curiosity is a key part of my life. I immerse myself in my clients’ businesses in order to dig deep and unearth the center of their brands. As a life-long learner, I continually invest in my design and illustration skills to make sure I’m always growing in ways that will serve my clients.

My clients care deeply about others and the world around them. I believe my purpose here is to help make the world a better place and I strive to do this by helping other purpose-driven entrepreneurs deepen their impact.

Empathy
My clients pour their entire souls into their businesses and I strive to serve them from a place of empathy, understanding who they are as individuals and as business owners. I take on a limited number of clients at a time in order to put thoughtful intention into each one of my client relationships.

While my design process involves quite a bit of research, intuition plays a strong role in how I translate your mission, values and goals into a visual brand that truly aligns with you and your business.
